Transforming Energy

In October 2024, performance art pioneer Marina Abramović returned to China after 32 years with her first large-scale museum exhibition in the country, Transforming Energy, presented at Yicang Art Museum in Shanghai. OLL provided the overall lighting design and support for the exhibition, using light to shape the space of viewing and experience. The lighting responds delicately to the crystal installations, video works, and interactive zones, going beyond illumination to guide the perception of energy, making light an essential element in the narrative of the exhibition.
